Battle on the Bay – Thanks to our supporters

We raised a tidy sum at Battle on the Bay with our monster raffle. That money will be well spent on new equipment for the timing system. And if anyone needs a lesson about the evils of inflation come and talk about the cost of blue stop watches and the other timing kit.

The raffle was only possible with the generous support of our regular sponsors and supporters and some new contributors.

Our regular supporters who provided raffle items on the day were:

We take this opportunity to shout out the following groups who supported us this carnival. Their support was extremely generous:

  • Italian Wine Cellars – who kindly donated a $1,000 experience at their Victoria Road centre. The winners, the Bhatti family, suddenly have even more people who want to be their friends and join them in embarking on a journey to Italy as experienced through wine! If you’re looking for an interesting night out be sure to check out the Italian Wine Cellars.
  • Sports Lab Drummoyne – who donated 2 x massages. Sports Lab offer a range of massage and physiotherapy services. They have a couple of the very best swimming physios in the universe. So, if you need some help to achieve peak performance head up to their Drummoyne practice.
  • Baku Swimwear – who donated a $175 voucher. If you need a new costume head over to their Birkenhead Pt store. There are plenty of on trend options.

Pool Entry Fees

A friendly reminder for swimmers and spectators that the club’s user agreement with Belgravia Leisure – who manage the pool – does not cover pool entry fees. All swimmers and spectators attending our swim club meets and squads must pay pool entry fees with each visit (via casual entry fees or by scanning multi visit passes).

Payment of entry fees allows Belgravia Leisure to maintain the quality of the facilities and services.

If a pool attendant is not at the entrance when you arrive please make sure that you pay entry fees on the way out.

Note that Belgravia Leisure offer a range of casual visit and multi visit pass options. Detailed about these options are shown below and are available on the Drummoyne Swimming Centre website.

If any members, parents or carers have any questions about this please feel free to contact Club President Adrian Bell on 0424 561 831.
