Improve your swimming technique and fitness by diving into our training squads every morning in Lanes 1 and 2 at Drummoyne Pool:

Monday 6:00am-7:00am – Adult Fit
Tuesday

5:45am-6:30am – Adult Technical
6:30am-7:00am – Young Kids
Lane 2
5:45am-7:00am – Youth Fit
Wednesday 6:00am-7:00am – Adult Fit
Thursday
(Starting 18 Oct 18)

5:45am-6:30am – Adult Technical
6:30am-7:00am – Young Kids
Lane 2
5:45am-7:00am – Youth Fit
Friday 5:30am-7:00am – Adult Fit

Adult Fit:

  • Lap swimming (2-3km)
  • Informal coaching by Annette Jamieson and Arthur Fogarty

Adult Technical:

  • Stroke correction (freestyle)
  • Focus on building swim technique
  • Learn how to race on a Saturday morning
  • Pre-requisite: can swim 50m

Young Kids:

  • Fun learn-to-swim style session for kids between 6-9 to build confidence, skills and speed
  • Coaching to develop technique
  • Dives, turns, starts

Youth Fit:

  • Lap swimming for teens
  • Mixture of endurance, intervals and sprints
  • Focus on school carnival preparation (race starts, turns, sprints, all strokes)
