Key Dates and format
Saturday morning racing commences on the 7th of October. The long range forecast looks good so tell your friends about how much fun racing is at Drummoyne and drag them along.
As usual we’ll follow our traditional weekly racing format:
- Freestyle sprint (50m or 100m plus 30m and 20m events for the young ones)
- Form Stroke (Breaststroke, Backstroke or Butterfly)
- Long distance event (alternating between 200m and 400m Freestyle and a Medley)
All racing in the early part of the season is based on our unique handicap system. Everyone has a chance to win.
Later in the season we will thrown in Championship racing – off scratch to see who the fastest swimmers in the club really are.
