Congratulations to Bronte Marshall, who was selected to represent NSW at the Special Olympics Nationals held in Melbourne on 20-25 October 2014. The Nationals are held every 4 years between swimmers from every state.
Bronte had an extremely successful campaign, returning home with the following medals:
- Silver Medal in the 50 metres Freestyle
- Silver Medal in the 4×50 metres Individual Medley
- Gold Medal in the 100 metres Breaststroke
Bronte’s strong performance has put her in contention for selection to represent Australia in the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Los Angeles and we wish her all the best!
