Battle On The Bay This Saturday!
This Saturday is the 10th Annual Battle On The Bay Swimming Carnival! Being held on home turf this year, it all kicks off from 3pm, this Saturday afternoon!
As well as all the usual races and relays, we have a few surprises up our sleeves. A very special Drummoyne local / Olympic medallist will join us on pool deck and maybe in the water for a relay if we’re lucky!
The raffle this Saturday will be one of the biggest in Battle on The Bay history with over $2,500 worth of prizes to be won thanks to our sponsors below:

This raffle is not to be missed. Grab your tickets on the day!
As the Carnival is on a Saturday afternoon, we do advise swimmers to get there early to get a park. It will be busy, so please allow ample time.
We are also still looking for volunteers on the day to help with timekeeping and other jobs. If you would like to help contact Tim: president@drummoyneswimclub.com.au or volunteer on the day.
It should be another riveting Battle on the Bay with plenty of medals and prizes on offer! Every swimmer will win points towards the trophy for the fastest Club on the Bay and the fastest swimmers in each age group will fight it out for the prized 10th Anniversary Carnival Medals.
The highlight of the Carnival is always the 4x50m Freestyle relays followed by the exciting 10x50m relay show-down between the fastest swimmers from each Club.
This year we have the home town advantage. Go Drummoyne!

Point Score Comes To A Head
With only 4 meets left of the season, every race and every point is vital. Currently leading the mens point score, after a few seasons off is Matthew Ellis followed by long time member David Parker and recent senior mens addition Aidan Kirkpatrick-Jones.
Leading the women’s point score is club secretary Sophie O’Brien, followed by speedy Melissa Kerr and in third place aiming for familial domination, Georgia Kirkpatrick-Jones.
There’s till room to move on the point score and plenty of opportunity for a podium finish!
