Just because too much swimming is never enough… junior squads will continue up until Tuesday the 22nd of December 2020 and recommence on Tuesday the 5th of January 2021, continuing all through January.
Adult squads will carry on as usual during the holiday season to help us all work off the effects of too much Christmas pudding.
Just a reminder that the club runs Adult Squads on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays.
Squads start at 6:00 am on Monday and Wednesday and 5:30 am on Fridays for those early birds who want to get in some extra training before racing on Saturday.
Squads are in Lane 1 and 2.
It would be good to see a few more swimmers on Mondays and Wednesdays in particular.
Junior squads are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 am.
Junior Squads are back this week! Junior squads are open to any of our junior members. Squads are down at Drummoyne Pool in Lanes 1 & 2 on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 5:30am.
Junior squads are a great way to keep fit and train up for Saturday morning meets. Improve your swimming skills and have fun in a great social squad!
Drummoyne Swimming Club is looking for a bronze-qualified swim coach to teach on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 5:45am – 7am at Drummoyne Swimming Pool.
As part of a community club, the focus is on teaching skills in a fun and enjoyable environment. Learn to swim for adults, young kids and teens – all out of the water coaching. Support coaching staff available. Two lanes of a 50m pool used for coaching.
Contract until end of December 2018 with possible extension to March 2019. Hourly rates based on experience.
