R&B Grillhouse return as a sponsor for 2022/23

The Seagrass Boutique Hospitality Group have generously agreed to extend their partnership with Drummoyne Swimming Club for the 2022/23 season.

The R&B Grillhouse return as a Gold Sponsor and will provide a heap of value to club members.

The R&B Grillhouse restaurant located at 4/77-105 Victoria Rd at Drummoyne was refurbished and re branded last year from a standard RIbs & Burgers restaurant to a flagship Grillhouse with more of a Steakhouse feel and more boutique food and beverage offerings.

You’ll find a succulent range of ribs and steaks, as well as hearty burgers, fresh salads, and moreish desserts. There’s also a full range of vinos, beers, and cocktails, although the thick shakes are so good it won’t just be the kids ordering this milky goodness.

Grab a feast to take away, order something delicious for delivery or even stop by for a sit down lunch or dinner and introduce yourself to some of the best food in town.

R&B Grillhouse will be offering weekly vouchers as raffle prizes and will be supporting our swimmers through the end of season male and female MVP prizes.

To support our valuable sponsor we’ll host our women’s and men’s social nights at the R&B Geillhouse. The women’s social night is planned for the 10th of November and the men’s social night is planned for the 17th of November. Please lock these dates away in your calendar.

If you still have credit on your Ribs and Burgers app you can use it at one of the other Ribs & Burgers stores including those nearby at Rhodes and the city.

Membership fees are the same as for the 2021-2022 season. The membership fee for the majority of our swimmers will be $100.

NSW Active Kids vouchers can be applied to this and will reduce the fee for eligible children to $0.

The Swimming NSW membership portal on Swim Central in open and our club membership options have been set up an we are now taking registrations.

How To Register With Swim Central – Swimming Australia Online Support Portal

Existing members can log in using their username and password. If you have forgotten your password you can reset it using your registered email address.

Note that over 18’s must have individual email accounts and may be requested to ‘graduate to a full account via the Edit Family page’. This will require a unique email address to be entered for all members over the age of 18. Each adult member will have to sign in to accept the terms and conditions.

New users will need to register and request a new password to be emailed to their valid email address. Follow these instructions to register with Swim Central and create a Family Group.

Membership Categories and Fees

* Unless you are planning to swim competitively for Drummoyne at Swimming NSW sanctioned events the Club Swimmer category is likely to be the one for you.

We are looking for additional junior swimmers (13+) to join the Technical Officials team and help run Saturday morning race meets.

Tasks include; entering swimmers into the race system from TeamApp, entering swimmers into races, checking race times, and coordinating results with pool deck officials among other tasks.

You will be working under supervision from Duncan, Cara and Matt.

An attractive salary package is available to the right candidate(s).

Swimming NSW is about to open membership portal on Swim Central in early September. The club will set up membership options and start taking registrations later in September.

Drummoyne Swimming Centre is open. Racing season is about a month away. It’s time to get down to the pool and get training. Squads are now back on in Lane 1 and 2.

Phil, Lynette and the coaching team are ready to get going with the first junior squad this coming Tuesday.

Remember squads are free for swim club members.
