Results Week 21
Enter Your Relay Teams!
If you would like to participate in the Family and Geribo Cup relays this Saturday, please send in details of swimmers and teams:
- For the 4x50m Family Relay we need teams of four people from one or more families.
- For the 4x50m Geribo Cup Relay, choose a team with the four fastest people who can win you that chocolate trophy!
For each swimmer, we need your name and details, including current time for 50m freestyle:
- If you already have a 50m time in our database then we’ll use that.
- If you have a child who normally swims 20m or 30m but would like to swim a leg in the 50m relays (perhaps with assistance from Mum or Dad) then please email in an estimated time for 50m and we’ll slot them in.
- If family or friends would like to participate in the fun day relays but haven’t yet registered with the club or swum a time trial for 50m freestyle, then please ask them to register for a free trial on Team App before Saturday morning and email an estimate of their time for 50m freestyle.

800M and Family Fun Day!
Don’t forget that this Saturday is our last Saturday morning meet and that means it’s the family fun day!
We’ll have the following events in addition to the 800M Championship race:
- The boogie board and floaty race
- The thong / croc / slide race
- The Family Relay, and
- The GERIBO CUP!!!
The Geribo Cup is a relay for the Chocolate Trophy. Check out the other comms this week to make sure you are in a team!

DSC is 120 years in 2024. To celebrate we’re having a birthday party straight after our final swim meet on Saturday the 23rd of March.
We’re having the party with our generous sponsors restaurant at Ribs & Burgers – 77-105 Victoria Road, Drummoyne.
Kids meals are free*. Adults to buy their own lunch and drinks.
We’ll have lucky door prizes and give aways on the day including a faster freestyle clinic from Effortless Swimming and a massage voucher from Sports Lab Drummoyne.
Please confirm your attendance using the Event on TeamApp. Please select your child’s meal preference there too.

The results for Saturday 16 March 2024, including the 100m Backstroke Championships and Week 6 of the 100m Freestyle Special Events, have been published here.
Week 20: 100M Backstroke Championship
We’re at the back end of the season and this week we’ve got backstroke – in the form of the 100M Backstroke championship race. This is your second last chance to get Championship points to add some backstroke to your week’s training plan.
Our events this week are:

Laps for Life
We are participating in the Laps for Life Challenge again this season.
For those that are new to the club, Drummoyne Swimming Club has been one of the top fundraising teams over the last few years. Some of our swimmers have also been right at the top of the fundraising ladders.
Last season the Smith boys swum their hearts out and raised an extraordinary amount.
Who is up for the challenge this time?
