Squads have already started so head down to the pool and get training!

The season calendar has now been published. The season in a nutshell:

Registrations are now open

Membership fees are the same as for the 2021-2022 season. The membership fee for the majority of our swimmers will be $100.

NSW Active Kids vouchers can be applied to this and will reduce the fee for eligible children to $0.

The Swimming NSW membership portal on Swim Central in open and our club membership options have been set up an we are now taking registrations.

How To Register With Swim Central – Swimming Australia Online Support Portal

Existing members can log in using their username and password. If you have forgotten your password you can reset it using your registered email address.

Note that over 18’s must have individual email accounts and may be requested to ‘graduate to a full account via the Edit Family page’. This will require a unique email address to be entered for all members over the age of 18. Each adult member will have to sign in to accept the terms and conditions.

New users will need to register and request a new password to be emailed to their valid email address. Follow these instructions to register with Swim Central and create a Family Group.

* Unless you are planning to swim competitively for Drummoyne at Swimming NSW sanctioned events the Club Swimmer category is likely to be the one for you.

We are looking for additional junior swimmers (13+) to join the Technical Officials team and help run Saturday morning race meets.

Tasks include; entering swimmers into the race system from TeamApp, entering swimmers into races, checking race times, and coordinating results with pool deck officials among other tasks.

You will be working under supervision from Duncan, Cara and Matt.

An attractive salary package is available to the right candidate(s).

Drummoyne Swimming Centre is open. Racing season is about a month away. It’s time to get down to the pool and get training. Squads are now back on in Lane 1 and 2.

Phil, Lynette and the coaching team are ready to get going with the first junior squad this coming Tuesday.

Remember squads are free for swim club members.

The main agenda items were to elect a new management committee, review the club’s accounts and confirm the calendar and fees for the upcoming season.

Michael Donnellan who has been the club’s Registrar for the last few years, Jodie van Loo and Danni Hale.

Thanks also to Phil Hayward for his work as Treasurer. Phil is handing this role over but remaining on the committee and continuing in the role of Learn to Swim Coordinator.

Calendar for 2022-2023

The season 2022-2023 calendar was discussed and agreed.

It was agreed that the racing season will commence on Saturday the 8th of October not the 1st of October as previously advised. Apologies for the confusion about this!

Squads will commence per previous communications – Adult Squads from the 2nd of September and Junior squads from the 6th of September.

Fees for 2022-2023

Swimming season is fast approaching. It’s almost time to dig out your swimming costume and dust off your goggles… Drummoyne Swimming Centre re-opens on 1 September and racing starts again on 1 October.
