Social Events

In addition to having fun racing at the pool every Saturday, the Swim Club holds a number of social events during the year.

Family Picnic Day

Every year, we hold a Family Picnic Day.   

The picnic is a fun day for you and your family to meet and socialise with other members and their families.

BYO food, drink, cricket bats and soccer balls.

Relay Fun Day

On the last Saturday of the season we celebrate with a Relay Fun Day.

Hotly-contested events include the Boogie Board race and the Geribo Cup, made of chocolate and other edible goodies!

Swimming Club Dinner

At the end of the season, we hold a Club dinner in the Water Polo room at Drummoyne Pool for parents, members and partners over 18 years old.

This dinner is a great opportunity to see what your fellow Swim Club members look like with their clothes on and to socialise with other parents in a relaxed atmosphere!

The evening will commence at 7pm, with dinner being served at 7.30pm.

Presentation Day

The Club holds its annual Presentation Day in late May, at which trophies and medals are presented.

The 2014 Presentation Day will be held in the Water Polo Room at the pool on Sunday 18th May 2014 at 3pm.

Battle on the Bay Swimming Carnival

In 2010, Dummoyne Swimming Club initiated the Battle on the Bay Swimming Carnival between neighbouring swimming clubs, which has become an annual fixture in February or March each year.
